Location Change

We had to change the location for the munch this Saturday. We now have a big space booked at Ocaña bar inside/downstairs from 19.30h this Saturday night until late. To find us, go in Ocaña bar in Plaça Reial and you should find us inside and downstairs in the apothecary room!

This month marks our 2 year anniversary of the International Kinksters Meetup! As a special treat, we head to a new venue, called El Convento.

The venue is a new club space, which recently opened in Barcelona and we will do the munch there. Normal munch rules apply.

About this meetup

This is a new collaboration with the organisers of El Convento and together they offer the use of their space for our munch.

The munch will be slightly earlier than usual, at 18h and will run until 22.00h.

Note: After 22.00h the club will open as usual but with a break, so from about 23:00h until late.

This is an unmissable opportunity to see El Convento and help support local kink spaces in Barcelona, as well as meet the cool people in the kink community here!

One last thing - the munch is free entrance and the address will be made available after you have RSVP'd on here.

ABOUT OUR MEETUPS

Our community serves a lot of English-speaking, international kinksters who live in Barcelona or are on vacation here. We also have a nice community of local Spanish and Catalan kinksters, but at the end of the day everybody who comes along is like-minded.

We have an active chat group on Telegram, where you can connect with people from the events and other kinksters in Barcelona as well as get a heads-up for other relevant events happening here, in Barcelona.

Is The Event A Munch?

Yes. This event is a meet-up for kinksters who live in, or who are visiting Barcelona so you can call it a munch if you like! It is a chance to have a drink together, share ideas and get to know each other more. It's also a great opportunity to make new connections and to hear about upcoming events in Barcelona. Also, we make it accessible to people from all backgrounds and perversions!

In addition, it's a great way to find out what is happening in the 'scene' in Barcelona these days and people who come to these events often know a lot about other private events and have tips and suggestions, which are otherwise not advertised online ;o)

What Should I Wear?

The event is informal and there is no dress-code as such. People will be dressed casually for a bar environment.

Who Will Be Going?

The event is currently frequented by regulars in the local community. It is also advertised on Fetlife in a few groups, Telegram and private messages between the previous attendees, then the rest is word-of-mouth. Please help us to publicise the event, if you know other people in the kink community here then they are more than welcome to come!

Oh No, I Didn't RSVP, Can I Still Come?

Yes! Just turn up. People usually arrive on time (kind of!)

I Will Arrive Late, Is That OK?

Yes, no worries! People arrive when they can and you can come and go as you wish

I am A Total Newbie, Can I Come?

Yes, definitely! In fact, we find most people out there are beginners to the scene. What is important is that you are non-vanilla and interested to socialise with other members of the kink community. You will not be judged as you will be among like-minded people. Introduce yourself to people and you will be surprised that they are just 'normal' people!

I am Not From Spain, Will People Be Talking Spanish?

Most people speak at least English and a lot speak Spanish and Catalan, or a mix. The event is very international. We hope to include all backgrounds and like last time we anticipate a mix of local and international people attending. We recommend to speak the language you are most comfortable with and it should not disuade you from attending.

Is The Event Free?

Yes. The event is free, but you will have to pay for your own drinks at the bar. If there is an after party, that is paid separately to the venue.

Can I Smoke?

If the bar has a terrace or a space outside for smoking, yes.

Is This A Play Party?

We will follow normal munch rules and so there will be no play during the munch itself.

I Am Still Nervous About Coming?

No worries. Message the event host on Fetlife direct with any questions you may have. Also, on the night we will have a designated female co-host - please ask on entry.

• Keep in mind that the bar will have other vanilla people, so dress accordingly
